On arrival at Windhoek International Airport we will meet our guide and transfer
through to Windhoek. After checking in to our hotel we can then relax, or head out
to get our first taste of the Namibian capital on an optional 3hr City & Township
Tour, exploring with our local guide and learning all about the history and the
people of Windhoek. After our tour we will be dropped off at our hotel, where we can
relax by the pool or take an early dinner (own expense) at any of the nearby
excellent restaurants, all within walking distance.

Day 2 : Dead Valley Lodge, Sesriem
+
We leave Windhoek at 9h00 to allow us enough time to get to our destination before
sunset. From Windhoek, we are heading south west, first through the Khomas Hochland
Mountains before descending onto the plains of the Namib Desert. The Namib Desert,
the oldest desert in the world, stretches some 2000 kms along the west coast of
Namibia, with varying types of terrain, but it is here, in the Sossusvlei region
that is known for its enormous sand dunes, and breathtaking photographic
opportunities. On arrival at our lodge we can enjoy lunch and some time to relax by
the pool before heading off for a short walk and relaxing sundowner drink at Elim’s
Dune before dinner.
MEALS: BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER
Day 03 : Dead Valley Lodge, Sesriem
+
A very early start this morning for our Sossusvlei guided excursion. We aim to leave
our lodge well before sunrise to ensure that we are one of the first to enter the
national park. From Sesriem, we drive further into the desert area, where the early
morning light provides excellent opportunities for photography. Once we arrive in
the 4x4 car park, we can then explore this area on foot, with a walk around Dead
Vlei and Sossusvlei, and for the adventurous, a hike up Big Daddy, the tallest dune
in the region, offering breathtaking views of the sand sea that is the Namib Desert.
By midday, we make our way back towards Sesriem with a stop at Sesriem Canyon, a
small but important landmark for both the human and animal residents of the area. We
then make our way back towards our accommodation where we’ll have time to rest and
relax before dinner.
MEALS: BREAKFAST & DINNER
Day 05 : The Delight, Swakopmund
+
The Mola Mola Day includes all the best experiences in one, epic day! The Atlantic
Ocean, the beach at Pelican Point sand Peninsula, amazing lunch occasion and the
ancient, magnificent dunes of Sandwich harbour.
Starting the day with a boat cruise, meet the popular pelicans and sassy seagulls
that like to fly alongside the boat. A friendly seal or two might pop by on the
boat, and if we are really lucky, we will get to experience the wonder of dolphins
swimming along in the blue ocean waters.
Reaching the uninhabited Pelican Point peninsula, we will disembark directly onto
the beach, where a beautiful Beach Braai (barbeque) set-up awaits. With delicious
food (including Namibian crayfish, fresh oysters and beef fillet :) and
breath-taking setting, we get to experience true Namibian hospitality and brilliant
beach vibes with friends and family.
From the beach to ancient, ageless sand dunes! The experienced guides and
specialised 4x4’s will now take us on an unforgettable adventure to experience
Sandwich Harbour and the Namib Sand Sea (now a UNESCO world heritage site). Beyond
Epic!
