Day 2 : DAR ES SALAAM – NYERERE NATIONAL PARK (SELOUS GAME RESERVE)

- Check out and private transfer to Dar Es Salaam Airport for your flight to Airstrip in Nyrere National Park formerly known as Selous Game Reserve.
With a truly massive wilderness area in East Africa, Nyrere National Park has an undisturbed ecology and can be considered to be more remote, pristine and unspoilt compared to the more visited parks in Tanzania. Nyrere National Park is home to an intact and diverse range of wildlife exhibiting significant predator and prey relationship. The great Rufiji River, the largest river in Tanzania, which flows into the Indian Ocean and has a healthy population of hippo and crocodiles, flows through the northern part of the park and is one of the tourist attractions here. - On arrival at Airstrip, you will be transferred to your lodge by lodge vehcile on sharing basis.

- Your activities with the camp include game drives, walking or boating (you can opt for 2 activities per day).
Nyerere National Park offers a wide range of activities that give visitors opportunities to enjoy its beauty. Some of the most popular activities include game drives, bird watching, walking safaris and boat safaris. The many waterways in the park provide an excellent natural setting for boat safaris, both for big game viewing and bird watching. - Overnight in Nyrere National Park

Day 05 : NYRERE NATIONAL PARK – RUAHA NATIONAL PAR

- Shared transfer to airstrip for your flight to airstrip in Ruaha National Park.
- Arriva at Airstrip in Ruaha Natioal Park, shared transfer by lodge/camp vehicle to the lodge/camp. Ruaha National Park in the centre of Tanzania takes its name from the Hehe word for ‘river.’ The eponymous Great Ruaha River serves as a lifeline for the park’s wildlife. Although it’s one of the largest national parks in the country and rich in wildlife, Ruaha is one of the least busy places to visit in Tanzania, so safaris here feel remote and exclusive. The focal point of the reserve is the Great Ruaha River, with its deep gorges, swirling rapids and excellent fishing. The river is an excellent fishing destination. With over 10,000 elephant, 30,000 buffalo, 20,000 zebra and huge populations of lion and leopard (not to mention more than 400 bird species), Ruaha is a wildlife enthusiasts paradise.

Day 06 & 07 : RUAHA NATIONAL PARK

Ruaha Natinal Park consists of several smaller ecosystems like Rungwa Game Reserve and Usangu Game Reserve. The highlight of the park is the Big Five Game animals along with the endangered elands, African leopard, sable antelope, impala, bat-eared foxes, agama lizards, etc. Besides, it has more than 1600 plant species and 500 bird species. - Overnight at Ruaha National Park

Day 08 : RUAHA – DAR ES SALAAM - DEPARTURE
